News!

Although we held out hope of being able to revive our cross country ski season, Mother Nature had other ideas. We will now wait for the remainder of snow and ice on the trails to melt and dry out before the bike trails open for the season. This will take until at least mid April.

Please, no biking on soft, muddy trails as these ruts will create an uneven surface as it dries out.

Highland Disc Golf will also reopen in April, once ground conditions are suitable.

If you are walking on the trails, please be aware of icy conditions.

Lights will remain on for night time use until 10:00 p.m. daily.

Thank You to the District of Logan Lake

The Highland Valley Outdoor Association gratefully acknowledges the District of Logan Lake for their continued support through the Grant in Aid program.

In 2024, the HVOA received $1,500 to support the installation of new trail signage, helping improve wayfinding and safety for all trail users.

In 2025, the District further demonstrated its commitment to outdoor recreation by awarding $5,300 toward trail maintenance equipment, including a tamper, weedwhacker, chainsaw, rakes, and additional batteries. This equipment significantly enhances our ability to maintain and improve local trails for the community.

We sincerely thank the District of Logan Lake for their ongoing support and partnership in maintaining and enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities in the Logan Lake!
