Disc Golf in Logan Lake
The HVOA maintains, improves and has built the Highland Valley and Sunnyside Courses. These two courses share the same parking lot, warmup amenities and you'll find the course kiosks there as well.
The Highland Valley disc golf course is a beginner-friendly course that plays along the ski trails and the Sunnyside course offers a little more difficulty with a front and back pad offering.

Copper Ridge
Entry to the course is by the parking lot beside Maggs Park. Here you will find the course kiosk, lost disc return box and towards the lake will be the first hole. The first basket plays through the woods and up the hill alongside the lake. The course has a few good hills to climb and elevation in its shots. There may be deer or bear on the course so plan accordingly. This course is mostly about placement over power so enjoy some fun shot shapes and a mostly wooded track!

FAQ
- Tee Throws: Each hole begins with a tee throw. Throws must be made from within the designated tee area.
- Lie: The spot where the disc lands is called the lie. The next throw must be made from directly behind the lie.
- Throwing Order: The player with the least number of throws on the previous hole tees off first on the next hole. After teeing off, the player whose disc is farthest from the basket throws next.
- Completion of Hole: A hole is completed when the disc comes to rest in the basket or chains. The goal is to finish the course in the fewest throws possible.
Logan Lake Video and Books sells new and used disc golfs. You can also trade in your disc golfs for free ice cream!
Discs lost at either Highland Valley or Copper Ridge can be picked up at the Logan Lake Video Store. Discs that are dropped in the lost disc bin are typically returned to the Video store bi-weekly.
