Hiking
Enjoy hiking throughout the entire trail system and witness the ongoing rehabilitation efforts after the devestating 2021 Tremont Creek Wildfire which forced the evacuation of the District of Logan Lake and burned the majority of the trails network. Spring time hikers will be treated to a variety of wildflowers. Wildlife in the area includes deer, coyotes, moose and a herd of feral horses.
Please pay close attention to mountain bike trail directional signs to avoid unexpected encounters with downhill bikers!

Know Before You Go
Although accessible from right in town, these are wilderness trails. There is limited cell phone coverage and you may or may not encounter other trail users while you are out there. Prepare accordingly.
The entire trail system is subject to a Section 58 Forest and Range Practises Act motor vehicle restriction. No motorized vehicles (except service vehicles) are permitted within the trail system. Dogs are welcome but must be under your control.
Visitors should be aware of potential hazards, including sudden weather changes, standing dead trees, and holes left by burned-out roots following the 2021 wildfire. Stay on marked paths, and always be prepared for the unexpected.
